Film Webinars

Our Film Studies webinars are run in 6 week blocks and are designed to be for any child who loves movies and wants to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of the key elements of film. These blocks are inspired by our GCSE course but will look at films more suitable for younger learners (including U, PG and 12A certification). These courses are designed for children around 11-16 years, however can be enjoyed by children of any age, though younger learners may require additional adult support. Parent/Carer discretion is advised.

Our Film Club blocks will use a specific theme or group of movies to learn how the key elements of film are used from an audience perspective. Suggested age range is around 8-14 years, but can be enjoyed by children of any age, though younger children may require adult support. Parent/Carer discretion is advised.

All sessions are delivered in a webinar format (cameras and mics off) but will include practical tasks. Recordings are available if you cannot attend the live webinar. Previously recorded blocks can also be purchased.
